- This is a 64-bit OS and can only be installed
on a computer that is 64-bit capable and can NOT be installed on
the computer with 32-bit capable processor.
- This version of software(64-bit OEM) can not be
installed on the notebook PCs. Only the 32-bit version of the software can be
installed on the notebook PCs.
- Only Windows Vista 64-bit can be In-Place
upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit using this version software(64 bit). For
32-bit Windows Vista or earlier versions of Windows, you have to do a
Custom Install (Clean Installation) to install the Windows 7 software.
- To tell if your computer is running a 32-bit
or a 64-bit in Windows 7 or Windows Vista by clicking the Start

system you're currently running under System type, and

Windows under 64-bit capable. (If your
computer is already running a 64-bit version of
Windows, you won't see the 64-bit capable
listing.)
