2. Windows 7 Full Installation or Upgrade - 64-bit
   
   • This is OEM version of software and can NOT be installed on Mac via Boot Camp or VMware, Only the Retail version can be installed on Mac via Boot Camp or VMware.
   • This item upgrades only from Vista 64-bit to Win 7 64-bit.
   • No operating system or Not Vista?  No problem, this version of software can be installed as a full version on ANY Desktop Computers.*
   • This is a 64-bit OS and can only be installed on a computer that is 64-bit capable and can NOT be installed on the computer with 32-bit capable processor.
   • This version of software(64-bit OEM) can not be installed on the notebook PCs. Only the 32-bit version of the software can be installed on the notebook PCs.
   • Only Windows Vista 64-bit can be In-Place upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit using this version software(64 bit). For 32-bit Windows Vista or earlier versions of Windows, you have to do a Custom Install (Clean Installation) to install the Windows 7 software.
   • To tell if your computer is running a 32-bit or a 64-bit in Windows 7 or Windows Vista by clicking the Start button , right-clicking Computer and then clicking Properties. Under System, you can view the system type.
   • To tell if your computer can run a 64-bit version of Windows( your computer have a 64-bit capable processor) in Windows 7 or Vista by clicking the "Start" button and clicking "Control Panel". In the search box, type Performance Information and Tools, and then, in the list of results, click Performance Information and Tools. In Windows Vista,  click View and print details. In the System section, you can see what type of operating system you're currently running under System type, and whether or not you can run a 64-bit version of Windows under 64-bit capable. (If your computer is already running a 64-bit version of Windows, you won't see the 64-bit capable listing.)

   • Only Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium, Vista Business and Vista Ultimate can be In-Place upgraded to Windows 7 under certain conditions.
