DFS Improvements:
Improvements in DFS deliver more reliable load-balancing, better file replication between DFS sites and servers, and closest-site selection for users accessing the network. Closest-site selection ensures that users share files from the server closest to their network access point. In addition, a single Windows Server system can host multiple DFS roots.
